Post subject:  Wait for terrain generation


In the Quick Start guide for the Terrain Example, we lift our player character above the ground to make sure the terrain has enough time to generate. What are better ways to handle that?

Been searching through the code to see if there's a way to check that the terrain has been generated but I'm not seeing it (yet).

You should be able to use Volume.OnMeshSyncComplete for this. The terrain example which comes with Cubiquity uses this to spawn some rigid bodies once the terrain is loaded.
