Post subject: | smooth terrain with custom models? |
Is there any mechanism with the smooth terrain to provide all the custom model permutations for the transitions between various voxel types ? I'm interested in being a bit more expressive with some of the geometric representation of the voxels so I'm curious if custom models can be algorithmically selected rather than procedurally generated. Thanks |

The configuration of triangles which is generated for each set of eight voxels (a cell) is determined by a look-up table: https://bitbucket.org/volumesoffun/poly ... ?at=master The algorithm was originally derived from Paul Bourke's article.
