Post subject:  smooth terrain with custom models?

Is there any mechanism with the smooth terrain to provide all the custom model permutations for the transitions between various voxel types ?

I'm interested in being a bit more expressive with some of the geometric representation of the voxels so I'm curious if custom models can be algorithmically selected rather than procedurally generated.

The configuration of triangles which is generated for each set of eight voxels (a cell) is determined by a look-up table: https://bitbucket.org/volumesoffun/poly ... ?at=master
